Marion-Florence, USD 408 is accepting applications for an elementary school teaching position for 2026-2027.  The grade level of teaching will be dependent upon the areas of strength of the applicant.  Our elementary school is a PreK-5 building with two classrooms per grade level. 

Marion has an outstanding tradition of quality education and positive student experiences.  Marion Elementary School was designated a National Blue Ribbon School in 2018.  USD 408 remains committed to providing the technology and resources to maintain this tradition of excellence.  Marion has outstanding facilities and an extremely positive working environment.   

Supplemental contracts may also be available that provide additional leadership and student interaction.

The successful applicant will be placed on the salary schedule at the highest step and column which their experience and credentials allow. 

The position also includes a single health insurance plan.
